Strengths flourishing needs

Neuroscience has shown us that, in the struggle to survive, our brain is inclined to learn mostly from negative outcomes. Yet, positive psychology clinical studies have demonstrated that focusing in the positive is essential for health, performance and well-being.

Character strengths are the core positive characteristics of our personality, “who we are”, this including thinking, feeling, volition and behaving. Appreciating and developing our strengths, as well as the strengths of others, is a pathway for flourishing, enabling positive emotions, engagement, meaning, self-esteem, optimism, resilience, vitality, positive relationships, and accomplishment.

Mindful strengths flourishing interventions develops most critical character strengths, like emotional and social intelligence, leadership and teamwork, as well as character strengths constellations (e.g., communication, resilience, agility, entrepreneurship, etc.).
